Aaron Scott Griffin is an artist living and working in the East of England.
He was the founder and artistic director of We Came Here to Conquer (2014-2017) - an artist led initiative that developed projects, exhibitions and residencies in collaboration and alongside arts groups and institutions including Norwich University of the arts, Norwich Castle Museum and art galleries and The Dyad Collective.
Griffin attempts to interrogate, disrupt and democratise the layered sequences of public/private spaces, challenging notions of function and value within phenomenological explorations of place. Incorporating text, signage, sculpture and installation the artist seeks to situate these concerns within a broad and expansive material engagement.
